Write for us

The Good Life Journey publishes evidence-based writing on Financial Independence, covering money and investing, work and purpose, and health and longevity. We occasionally feature guest posts, some built on data and research, others on personal stories and first-hand experience. These are unpaid contributions, published with full credit and a link back to your site.

What we’re looking for

‍ ✔ A clear fit with one of our 7 Pillars: FI, investing, SWRs, geographic arbitrage, frugality, work & purpose, or health & longevity
‍ ✔ A fresh angle. We love original perspectives, whether that comes from your own data, analysis, or lived experience
‍ ✔ Preferably ~1,500–2,000 words, plain language, written for a curious non-specialist
‍ ✔ Focus on the story, not a sales pitch. Linking to your own site is, of course, welcome
‍ ✔ Pitch the angle first. Send us a short description of your idea and high level outline. Only write the full piece once we’ve agreed on it
‍ ✔ Light editing. We may polish tone and flow for readability, always keeping your meaning and your backlink
✔ We don’t publish: generic listicles, unoriginal takes, “Get rich quick” schemes, or stock tips
